ADVICE

It is necessary to cover your shoulders and knees in the temples
On the Ghats of Pushkar Lake there are many ´´Holy man´´ who try to talk to you and bless your life. They are doing some rituals and on the end they ask for a crazy payment (sometimes 5000 rupees or more). Do not give them any money or just symbolic amount (10 or 20 rupees). Or just avoid them! You are not obliged to talk to them!
Desert is very tricky: during a day weather is very hot, during a night- much cooler…Please take with you some scarf or sweater to cover yourself!

Holy city and holy people... Pushkar is a real delight: a quiet lake surrounded by white houses and hills: observe devotees, kids taking bath, woman washing colourful clothes, and families performing pujas (religious rituals)... Small town, big tranquillity: visit local temples and markets... The view inspires you to sit on the rooftop of the restaurant and have local lassi (yogurt drink)! Discover beauty of the place while climbing to the sunset point situated on the hills…

Do you wish to spend a day in a mysterious desert? Let the camel ride you through the villages and golden sand dunes. Enjoy camel safari and unlimited sand… In life it is not a mountain ahead what motivates you to move on but the grain of sand in your shoe... This evening you deserve a dinner with candle light under the stars and a night in a bed in your luxurious camp...

On your arrival visit the Maharaja of Jodhpur who is still living and enjoying the royal life in Umaid Bhawan. Later if you are up for shopping, Jodhpur offers a chance to walk in the scenic Sadar market with its Clock Tower and loads of jewellery stalls, textiles and fresh veggies! Do not forget your camera because Jodhpur blue colour contrasts impress everyone! In evening pleasure for your eyes: be amazed by Gipsy snake dance!

Blue sky, blue house, blue day...Everything today is Blue! Jodhpur is a city with the charm of a rural village... Around the Fort the buildings and the people’s lifestyle are still primitive: women milking cows in a courtyard and hanging the washed clothes in the street, men working in the fields outside of Jodhpur...The traditional locals are getting the resources from the nature: cultivating their own veggies and meat- healthy chicken and goats are the main domestic animal of many householder... Discover the narrow streets of Jodhpur and climb up to the Mehrangarh Fort which stands on the hill and represents the main proud of the city! Try Flying fox. Discover the fort from the altitude of 200 meters (be crazy and enjoy this unforgettable activity). It’s a thrilling and exciting experience for everyone. Very scary in the beginning as your life literally hangs on a wire stretched over few hundred meters of the ground (very safe activity, UK standards). Six tracks are waiting for you to fly around like a bird and admire the beauty of the blue surroundings!
