Advice

Try all sorts of snacks and meals in Udupi. This is the place to try best South Indian cuisine.
Ayurvedic traditional oils and herbal products are widely available in this region. It’s a good moment to buy some in good prices.
Keep in mind that cities you will visit are of high religious importance. Appropriate clothing is recommended… bikini on the beach won’t be the best idea.
If you have one, take your diving mask. It’s always more convenient to dive with well fitted gear.

Explore the coastal part of unmatched Karnataka. Major activities during this three day trip are related to sightseeing of major Hindu temples, mouthwatering food tasting and exciting scuba diving in Arabian Sea. Busy schedule for active and curious travelers!

You will take a morning flight to Mangalore (Bajpe Airport) and from there you will be driven to Udupi. In Udupi, your first stop, people make time for their gods and for their food. With Arabian Sea on its west and Western Ghats on its east it’s a town with high value in the Hindu world having Chandramoulishwar, Ananteshwar and Krishna temples with eight monasteries of Madhavacharya attracting devotees from all India. You will also get to taste South India’s best food here. Huge variety of dosas, idlis, puris, ravas, uttappams, upmas, puddings…generally choice of incredibly tasty South Indian specialties is to be found in Udupi traditional restaurants. In the evening you will proceed north to Murudeshwar. In an hidden retreat there take rest…you need energy for the next day underwater adventure.

Exciting day! You will go to meet the underwater world near the Nethrani Island. It’s one of India’s best diving spots with diverse marine life and conditions attractive for both- beginners and more experienced divers. Murudeshwar is also a charming coastal city with massive 123 feet high statue of Lord Shiva and sandy beaches. After diving spend relaxing time on the beach or in the theme park on Kandukagiri hillock. Evening in the retreat with options of rejuvenating massages and SPA treatments.

Another day of diving and snorkeling. Take a chance to spot schools of angelfish, barracudeas, eels, sea turtles and other colorful fish. If you feel like the one day before was enough you can opt for a relaxing day in the resort with river next to you and butterflies flying in the air. In the afternoon you will be transferred back to the airport in Bajpe to catch an evening flight to Bangalore.
